Expresscard 34 esata driver not working in mavericks 10.9

 · This StarTech Ecusb3s11 expresscard did work successfully with OS X Mavericks when I used www.doorway.ru with this (because StarTech only provided Windows drivers.) I had to also use www.doorway.ru from a previous OS X x as Apple broke support for ExpressCard on mid MacBookPros - there are threads of discussion .  · I just updated to Mavericks from on my 17" late MacBook Pro, 16Gb RAM. Prior to updating I was able to use my Magma 4-slot PCI (not PCIe) chassis via their ExpressCard 34 card. After updating, the chassis or the card are not recognized. The card doesn't show up in about this mac.  · Question: Q: Expresscard 34 eSATA driver not working in Mavericks I have a LaCie eSATA / USB 2in1 Expresscard on my Macbook Pro 17', and upon upgrading to Maverick's it no longer works. There was a message I receeived after upgrading to Mavericks that said something about this device is not suported and is disabled.

just removing this eSATA Xpress card (without using the SI “Power Off Card” selection above) This means that I now have to Shut Down every time I want to remove this eSATA Xpress card since updating to MacOS Sierra which could be removed PERFECTLY for the past 5 years and with 3 different versions of MacOS (, and ). Confirmed working with on OS X over USB. I previously had the dock connected via eSATA to an eSATA to Thunderbolt bridge. That no longer works in Mavericks. Oh well, USB gets the job done for reading SMART status. For starters, many eSATA ExpressCard are having problems, specifically on the inch, mid MacBook Pro, when it's upgraded to Mavericks. The Apple Support community has customer complaints.
